Library

The college library is enriched with a vast collection of books and is equipped with the facilities and resources required by students. A separate reading room is available for students.

The reading room provides access to various periodicals, including daily newspapers, weekly publications, fortnightly publications, monthly magazines, and other journals, enabling students to stay informed and develop a regular reading habit.

Library Rules

1.     Books will not be issued to students without presenting their College Identity Card. Entry to the library will also not be permitted without a valid Identity Card.

2.     Students must maintain silence and discipline in the library and reading room.

3.     Only one book per student will be issued at a time for a period of one week.

4.     If there is a valid reason, a book may be renewed with the permission of the library authorities.

5.     All books borrowed from the library must be returned before the end of the Second Semester.

6.     A fine of ?5/- per day will be charged for returning a book after the due date.

7.     In case a book is lost, the student will be required to pay a penalty equivalent to twice the cost of the book.

8.     A fine will be imposed for tearing pages, writing in books, or causing any damage to library books.

9.     Writing on, tearing pages from, or removing pictures from periodicals kept in the reading room is strictly prohibited and will be subject to a penalty.

10. The Library Clearance Certificate must be obtained before the examination hall ticket/admit card and the Transfer Certificate (T.C.) can be issued.
