Scholarship Distribution Rules

1.     The scholarship amount will be credited directly to the student’s Aadhaar-linked bank account.

2.     The scholarship application form must be duly filled in and submitted online. A hard copy of the application must also be submitted to the college office on or before 31st December.

3.     A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory to avail of the scholarship benefit. Students having attendance below the prescribed requirement will be required to pay the full tuition/educational fee for the respective academic year.

4.     Students who fail in the University Annual Examination will be ineligible to receive the scholarship for that particular class/year.

5.     The annual income of the student’s parents will be considered for scholarship eligibility. If the parents’ annual income exceeds the income limit prescribed by the Government, the scholarship application will be treated as ineligible.

Procedure for Applying for the Government of India Scholarship

1.     Eligible students belonging to SC, ST, DNT, OBC, Persons with Disabilities (PWD), Minority, and Open categories who wish to avail themselves of the Government of India Scholarship must submit an online application through the online portal prescribed by the Government. A printout of the application, along with the required documents, must also be submitted to the college office.

2.     Students must carefully enter correct and accurate information in the scholarship application. Applications containing incomplete, incorrect, or misleading information will not be considered.

Important Note

While applying for a scholarship, students must comply with all the prescribed rules and conditions and submit all the required documents. Incomplete applications or applications received after the prescribed deadline will not be accepted.
